As a result of wintering some of our capsicum plants in the greenhouse, avoiding die off, we’ve already got some beautiful Hungarian wax peppers ready to eat! I love it when an experiment goes right!
These lovely peppers are just like a capsicum, only small and long. They transition in colour from green to yellow, then orange and finally red. As you can see in the picture you can even pick them when there are multiple colours in the one pepper!
We are germinating more seeds as we speak... these will go into the garden beds in the next month or so and will start producing fruit around January through to June.
